Shooting In La Vergne Leads To Car Crash
A gunshot victim and a driver in an ensuing accident are injured after Monday night's incidents.
LA VERGNE, TN — A man was shot during an argument outside a business at Stones River and Murfreesboro Road in La Vergne Monday night and then the car he was in was involved in a car accident.
An escalated altercation led to gunplay, leaving one person shot. As he was leaving the scene, the driver of the car he was in ran a red light, hitting a car and injuring the driver, who was not involved in the altercation.
Both the gun shot victim and that second driver were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. One of the them, though it is not clear which, is in critical condition.
