Florida Woman Bites Officer After Airport Arrest
A dispute with cabby ends with a stay in the Davidson County Jail.

NASHVILLE, TN — A Florida woman racked up quite a catalog of charges after an alleged drunken dispute with a cab driver at Nashville International Airport escalated into a more general and boisterous outburse, finally concluding with an ill-timed bite.
Airport police were dispatched to the cab stand at BNA and found Angelique Madril "very intoxicated with watery eyes, slurred speech, and unsteady on her feet." When she did respond to officers' questions — which took some time — she gave nonsensical answers or was more focused on screaming on passers-by.
The officers, determining Madril was a danger to herself and disruptive to Sunday's travelers, placed Madril under arrest, but she "began to violently swing her arms." Even after being handcuffed Madril "continued to actively thrash," eventually kicking multiple officers and biting one, puncturing the skin.
