Nashville Police Officer on Desk Duty After DUI Arrest
Seven-year veteran officer has been decommissioned after drunken-driving arrest in Sumner County.

NASHVILLE, TN — A seven-year veteran of the Metro Nashville Police Department is on desk duty after a DUI arrest near Hendersonville.
West Precinct officer Mark Hatt was stopped by a Sumner County sheriff's deputy for speeding on Center Point Road and the deputy determined Hatt showed signs of impairment. The Metro officer submitted to a blood test, the results of which are pending.
Hatt is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court in December.
