Kathleen Grimes, 54, was found in the same room and had been shot just once.
"She came over to my house and she was talking to me and my wife yesterday. Real nice. I had a good conversation. Nothing out of the ordinary that would be like this. It's a tragedy it happened,” neighbor Lawrence Gomez told KPRC.

Neighbors told police that the Grimes had been married for more than 30 years, and had recently divorced.
A rental moving truck was parked outside the home, and the couple was in the process of leaving the home when the incident took place.
Neighbors told investigators that Brian Grimes and the couple's teenage daughter had already moved from the home
"He's just a very good man. (A) kind-hearted person and he's helped me move stuff around my home. He knows people around here," Gomez said. "He would always give a hand and just a kind person and he'll be definitely missed a lot, especially from me and I'm just sad to see this happen.”
The shooting is under investigation.
