Car Fire Causes Traffic On Westbound I-30 In Dallas

DALLAS, TX — Drivers heading westbound on I-30 in Dallas will most likely endure delays. A car fire on the shoulder of the roadway is causing backups near the Westmoreland Drive exit.
DFW Scanner reports four additional fire engines were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. to help extinguish the blaze.
Commuters should consider finding alternate routes if heading westbound on I-30 through Dallas.
