Fiery 18-Wheeler Accident Leaves Behind A Big Mess
The accident and subsequent fire happened early Tuesday morning.
CARROLLTON, TX -- The Carrollton Police Department has shared new photos from the aftermath of a 18-wheeler fire Tuesday morning. The truck, which was carrying flour, caught fire in the southbound express lanes of IH35E north of Sandy Lake, Carrollton PD wrote on Facebook.
The driver was not seriously injured, police added.
Flour can cause intense fires and is "even more explosive when it is mixed with the air," strikefirstusa.com reported.
