The winning numbers from that round were 03 – 12 – 16 – 32 – 34 and the Powerball number was 14.
The May 4 drawing took place at 9:59 p.m., and the cash value of the current jackpot is $226.1 million, according tothe Illinois Lottery. If no one wins, the jackpot will roll on and continue to climb.

In January this year, the Powerball jackpot reached a record $1.6 billion, which is the highest it has ever been. Winners from California, Tennessee and Florida were announced. Two Illinoisans won $1 million prizes in the January 13 drawing, and 15 Illinois Powerball tickets won $50,000.

Plays cost $2 each, and Illinois residents can buy tickets online atillinoislottery.com, at almost 8,000 retailers in the state or by using the free Illinois Lottery’s mobile app.
The overall odds of winning the jackpot are one in 292,201,338, the Illinois Lottery reports. Drawings are every Wednesday and Saturday.
How to play
Players pick five numbers from one to 69 and a sixth Powerball number, one through 26. Many people choose a Quick Pick ticket for random numbers. There are different levels of payouts, but to win the jackpot, tickets must match all five numbers plus the Powerball.

It's happening again. The Powerball jackpot is taking flight, soaring up to $348 million.
California Lottery officials say the jackpot has rolled 17 times before tonight. Should someone strike big and match all five numbers and the red "powerball," the cash payout would be $226.1 million.
The Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:59 p.m. local time. You can buy tickets up until 7 p.m. at most locations. Check for results at the California Lottery’s Powerball site to see if you’ve won.
The California Lottery is one of 44 lotteries nationwide, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, that participate in the Powerball drawing. Tickets can be purchased at any lottery vendor of more than 22,000 California Lottery retail locations.
Earlier this year Powerball fever reached new heights, when a billion dollar jackpot was on the line. On Jan. 13, three people finally won a $1,586,400,000 jackpot after it rolled 19 times, California Lottery officials say.
One of those tickets was bought in Chino Hills. To date, they have yet to come forward, according to lottery officials. The other two winners-- in Florida and Tennessee-- have claimed their prize.
