FBI Searching for Suspect in Theft of Intellectual Property: Video
The same man is seen on video surveillance on two separate occasions before employees arrive for the work day, authorities said.

HOUSTON, TX — The FBI is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of breaking into the headquarters of a Fortune 500 company in Houston's Energy Corridor, and stealing intellectual and personal property.
The FBI released video surveillance from June and December that shows an unidentified man roaming a secured area of the building before employees arrived.
Authorities believe the burglar gained unauthorized access into the building through a defective door.

The property was identified through the investigation to include a shoulder bag and a backpack, which contained valuable intellectual property.
On Dec., 30, 2015, at approximately 3:25 a.m., the same man returned and tried once again to enter the same Fortune 500 company.
However, he was unable to get into the secure area this time, and left the building.
On his way out, authorities said he stole a security radio from a desk in the lobby.
Investigators are interested in learning more about the suspect and his motive in targeting the company, which has asked not to be named for security reasons.
The suspect was described as a white male, about 35-45 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a medium build and dark hair.
During the June 2015 theft, the suspect had facial stubble and a thin goatee. He wore a light-colored long-sleeved collared shirt, tie, khaki pants, dark green baseball cap and black athletic shoes with orange markings.
During the December 2015 theft, the suspect was clean shaven and wore a light gray long-sleeved collared shirt, khaki pants, tan baseball cap and black athletic shoes.
The man has a noticeable tick — or upper body twitching of his head, neck, shoulders and arms, authorities said.
