Kickoff Time: When Does The Super Bowl Start?
Super Bowl LI: The Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots face off Sunday at NRG Stadium in Houston.
HOUSTON, TX — Super Bowl Sunday is here and there's a good chance that you, like most patriotic football lovers, will be tuning in to the big game. The Atlanta Falcons face off against the New England Patriots Sunday night at NRG Stadium in Houston, a ninth trip to the title game for the Patriots and a second appearance for Atlanta.
The weather in Houston will be pleasant but it doesn't seem like the sun will make an appearance. The forecast calls for a mostly cloudy day with a high of 75 and there's a 30 percent chance of showers. But that's likely not going to ruin the fun for anyone attending the game in person, a list that includes Vice President Mike Pence. And likely owing to the weather, the roof will be closed for the game.

And of course the Super Bowl isn't just a place for sports fans. Lady Gaga will light up the halftime show, Luke Bryan will sing the national anthem and the cast of Hamilton will perform "America the Beautiful." And of course there are the commercials. Sunday might also feel like a perfect day to escape any kind of political dialogue but that ship seems to have sailed as a movement to boycott Budweiser has already begun after the company aired a Super Bowl ad that pays tribute to a German immigrant.
