Car Fire Breaks Out At Hilton Americas-Houston Parking Garage
Photos and video posted on social media Sunday showed flames and thick smoke shooting out of a parking garage near Hilton Americas-Houston.

HOUSTON — Firefighters were responding Sunday to a parking garage at the Hilton Americas-Houston hotel as flames and thick, black smoke shot out of the top level. The Hosuton Fire Department said a car fire broke out Sunday afternoon at the Hilton garage on Polk and Jackson streets. No injuries were reported.
Photos and videos tweeted around 4:30 p.m. showed stunned onlookers watching from at least one nearby skyscraper as firefighters swarmed the garage.
A message left with the Houston Fire Department wasn't immediately returned Sunday afternoon.
