Body Found In Northeast Austin Neighborhood (Updated)
Austin Police Department said officers responded to the 7600 block of Glenhill Cover near U.S. 183 just before 12:45 p.m. Monday.

NORTH AUSTIN, TX — A body has been found in a Northeast Austin residential area, police said Monday.
In a tweet, the Austin Police Department said officers responded to the 7600 block of Glenhill Cover near U.S. 183 just before 12:45 p.m. on Monday amid reports of a deceased person. In a subsequent update at around 2 p.m., police said they would not be providing a media briefing as the death does not appear to be suspicious.
Law enforcement officials didn't specify if the body is that of a man or woman. This is a developing story. Patch will update as more information is made available.
