Typhoon Texas Officials Hiring 600 Workers Ahead Of May Opening
The water park needs to fill jobs in a variety of positions ahead of its opening scheduled in late May.

PFLUGERVILLE, TX — Typhoon Texas officials are in a hiring mode, with plans of offering jobs to 600 part-time seasonal jobs ahead of the water park's late May opening date.
Applications are now being accepted for administrative, cash control, food & beverage, front gate, in-park entertainment, maintenance, park services and waste water positions. Applications must be submitted online at www.TyphoonTexas.com.
“We are eager to establish our Typhoon Texas team here in the Austin market,” Typhoon Texas Austin General Manager Ty Weitzel said in a prepared statement. “We have a fun work culture that promotes teamwork, dependability, excellent customer service and a positive attitude. We are going to have a great first summer working together here at Typhoon Texas!”

After completed applications are submitted online, they will be reviewed by the park’s management team. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and will be contacted to schedule an interview at the park.
Season passes for 2017 are available for $69.99 until March 31 at www.TyphoonTexas.com. Website visitors can also sign up for special offers from the Typhoon Texas Double-T Club. Single-day tickets are $29.99 on weekdays and $34.99 on weekends for guests 48 inches and taller. Single-day tickets for seniors (55 and older,) active and retired military and guests under 48 inches are $24.99 daily. Typhoon Texas also offers a daily twilight rate after 5 p.m. for $19.99. Children age two and younger are free. Admission includes parking and the unlimited use of mats and tubes.

Typhoon Texas Austin will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with extended hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The park also will be open for special themed nights and group gatherings for schools, churches and company outings.
