Round Rock Police Open Red Bud Lane After Vehicle Fire Prompted Street Closure

Three people reportedly injured at the site after a car caught fire.

ROUND ROCK, TX -- Police have re-opened a portion of Red Bud Lane on Tuesday after a vehicle fire there prompted its closure.

Both the northbound and southbound lanes along the 1200 block of Red Bud Lane were re-opened at about 2:45 p.m. Three people were injured at the site of a vehicle fire there, forcing police to shut down the roadway stretch to allow emergency crews to work the scene.

According to Round Rock police, three people were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries after the vehicle fire that occurred there. Patch will update with more details as they become available.
