Man Found Dead in South Austin Trail
Medics initially got word a man in his 30s was experiencing medical issues, only to find the patient already deceased when they arrived.
AUSTIN, TEXAS β Medics retrieved a dead body from a walking trail in southwest Austin on Thursday night.
Medics initially were called for a land rescue for a person experiencing medical issues, according to Austin-Travis County EMS. By the time first responders arrived at 4400 West Gate Boulevard just after 8:30 p.m., however, medics found the patient, a man in his 30s, already deceased.
The cause of death for the man is not clear. Medics referred all further question to the Austin Police Department, which has yet to provide further details on the matter.
