Hillary Clinton Sets Twitter Trap For Donald Trump, Who Falls For It, Slaps Out Nuclear Tweets

"A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons."

Arguably the most blistering line from Hillary Clinton's nomination acceptance speech Thursday night was this: "A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons."

It captured a legitimate concern many Americans have about Donald Trump's temperament. And however Trump responded to it, Clinton wins.

If he stayed silent, he was admitting defeat. And if he spoke out and objected, she's proven right.

Trump chose the latter.

As of Friday around 1:30 p.m. Eastern, Trump had sent 21 tweets since Clinton's speech, many of them in the broken, angry style that differentiate Trump's whimsical musings from the coordinated messages that come from his campaign staff.
