Body Found In Guadalupe County That Of Texas State University Student, Officials Confirm
The woman's body was found in Martindale not far from campus after a college party had taken place at the site.
SAN MARCOS, TX -- Guadalupe County officials said Saturday they are investigating after the body of a woman who was a student at Texas State University was found.
A representative from Texas State University confirmed to WOAI-TV that the body is, in fact, that of a student who attended classes there. The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Department said the woman is between the ages of 19 and 20.
The body was found at Cool River Ranch in Martindale, just a short drive from San Marcos, the news station reported. The sheriff's office said the body was found following a college party had occurred at the location.
