Milk Sold In 27 States Recalled: What To Know
HP Hood LLC in Massachusetts issued the recall for several kinds of Lactaid milk. See which products are affected.

LYNNFIELD, MA — A Massachusetts company has issued a voluntary recall for several kinds of lactose-free milk because the products may contain an undeclared nut allergen, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced.
In a notice posted on the FDA's website, HP Hood LLC said it was recalling five kinds of Lactaid milk because the products may contain traces of almonds. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds risk having a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The issue was discovered as a result of routine testing, officials said. No illnesses have been reported to date.
