Trump Camp Talking Points: Hit Hillary Clinton on Monica Lewinsky
A new memo from Donald Trump's camp is encouraging surrogates to hit Hillary Clinton on Bill Clinton's previous infidelities.
Donald Trump's campaign is encouraging surrogates for the Republican presidential nominee to exploit the infidelities of Bill Clinton with individuals like Monica Lewinsky and Gennifer Flowers as a way to combat how Trump treated a former "Miss Universe," according to a new memo of talking points from the Trump camp.
"Mr. Trump has never treated women the way Hillary Clinton and her husband did when they actively worked to destroy Bill Clinton's accusers," read one of the talking points, obtained by CNN.
"Hillary Clinton bullied and smeared women like Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewinsky," read another talking point.

"Are you blaming Hillary for Bill's infidelities? No, however, she's been an active participant in trying to destroy the women who has come forward with a claim," the memo continued.
The talking points follow Monday night's first presidential debate when Clinton closed with hitting Trump on his treatment of women in which she highlighted former "Miss Universe" Alicia Machado, whom Trump allegedly called "Miss Piggy," among other things, when she gained weight.

The memo also points to a shift in how the campaign wants to handle the delicate issue.
Moments after Monday's debate, Trump said he was "tempted" to mention Bill Clinton's infidelities but "decided not to do it out of respect for Chelsea."
On Tuesday night, Trump reiterated his stance, telling a crowd of 7,500 people that he did not want to embarrass his opponent.
"I was holding back," the Republican presidential candidate said. "I didn’t want to do anything to embarrass her."
Trump's son, Eric Trump, said it was a virtue that his father took "the high ground" that evening.
"I think that took a lot of courage in so many regards," Eric Trump, the candidate's son, told an Iowa radio host Wednesday. "I think he really answered that well and took the high ground."
However, not all in the Trump camp agree.
Former New York City mayor and prominent Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani already got the memo — or perhaps wrote it — just moments after the debate ended, saying that Clinton is "too stupid" to be in the White House following Bill Clinton's affair with then-intern Monica Lewinsky.
"She didn't just stand by him — she attacked Monica Lewinsky, and after being married to Bill Clinton for 20 years, if you didn't know the moment Monica Lewinsky said Bill Clinton violated her and was telling the truth — then you're too stupid to be president," Giuliani told Elite Daily shortly after Monday night's debate.
