Gary Jeanfaivre

Gary Jeanfaivre is an award-winning journalist with a passion for community news. A native of Fairfield, Conn., he graduated from St. Michael's College with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication, with a concentration in English literature. His first gig out of college was with the then Fairfield Citizen~News, as a reporter covering zoning, town government, police, fire, features and basically anything and everything. It was while with the Citizen that he earned three awards from the New England Press Association: first place environmental reporting; second place general news; third place social issues feature.
