Dear Annandale High School Community:
It gives me great pleasure to announce that Vincent Randazzo has been appointed
as principal of Annandale High School, effective July 1, 2011.
Mr. Randazzo came to Annandale High School as Assistant Principal in 2005. He
began his service with Fairfax County Public Schools as an English teacher at
Stuart, Annandale and McLean High Schools. Prior to entering the educational
field, Mr. Randazzo enjoyed a successful career in law enforcement serving our
county as an investigator and instructor with the police department. Mr.
Randazzo has also been active in leadership through sports. He has coached
several programs in our area including service as the varsity football head
coach at Stuart High School.
Mr. Randazzo brings a wealth of educational expertise to the position. He
earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice at Kings College in Pennsylvania
and completed his Master of Education, Administration and Supervision at
Virginia Tech with certification in PreK-12. Mr. Randazzo is currently pursuing
a Doctoral of Education Degree in Educational Leadership, also with Virginia
Tech. He was selected as a member of the Lead Fairfax Aspiring Principals
Cohort in 2010 and has been an active instructional leader instrumental to the
success of his school.
Please join me in welcoming Mr. Randazzo as the new principal of Annandale High
School. He is very excited to continue his work with the Annandale family of
students, teachers, and parents!
Sincerely,
Dan Parris, Cluster III
Assistant Superintendent
