Arlington Firefighters Rescue Two Dogs from Fire

Dogs were reportedly in stable condition Thursday night at a local animal hospital after being treated for smoke inhalation.

Arlington firefighters rescued two dogs Thursday from a fire at a single family home in the 5200 block of Yorktown Boulevard in Arlington. The dogs were treated for smoke inhalation.

The dogs were transported to a local animal hospital and reported to be in stable condition Thursday night.

The fire was determined to be accidental, due to an appliance malfunction. The Arlington County Fire Department estimates damage to the single family home at $100,000.
