Film-Inspired Fashion Show Coming to The Artisphere in Arlington

Coming soon to Artisphere: A film-inspired fashion show.

On Wednesday, June 4, area fashionistas will gather at 4 p.m. for  The Art Institute of Washington's “Scenes to the Runway,” for its fashion show at The Artisphere, 1101 Wilson Blvd.

There is no charge for admission, but donations are welcome and all proceeds will benefit the Family Crisis Center, a local charity ( www.familycrisiscenter-pgco.org).

The fashions will be inspired by a diverse set of movies, such as Skyfall, Fast & Furious, American Hustle, The Hunger Games and The Great Gatsby. Each scene will showcase styles from one of the movies.

All makeup services, garments and accessories displayed at the show will be donated by local makeup artists and retailers. For more information about the fashion show, visit  https://www.facebook.com/ScenesToTheRunway.

To request accommodations in connection with this event, contact the Student Affairs Department in advance at (703) 358-9550.

The Art Institute of Washington offers programs in design, media arts, fashion and culinary in an 88,600 square foot facility to approximately 1,450 students (as of October 2013). For more information, visit  www.artinstitutes.edu/arlington.
