'The Great Chocolate Race 2016' to Cause Major Road Closures in Arlington
Arlington will be one of five cities to host the race, which will help kick off the holiday shopping season in Rosslyn.

ARLINGTON, VA — The Great Chocolate Race is coming soon to Arlington, and that means significant road closures in the eastern part of the county.
Arlington's Great Chocolate Race, which takes place on Dec. 10 starting at 7:30 a.m., is one of five in the country hosted by Crucible Racing. The event is meant to be an opportunity to run and also kick off the holiday shopping season.
"The Great Chocolate Race is proud to partner with Godiva Chocolatier to provide a remarkable experience for our runners," Crucible Racing states on its website. "After you finish the race, head over to Gateway Park where you will enjoy a box of Godiva chocolate and a selection of Hot Chocolate from a local Arlington chocolatier. Additionally, Rosslyn is hosting the annual Holiday Market in Gateway Park, so while you enjoy your chocolate, browse the unique vendors and make some headway on that Christmas gift list!"
