Two Injured When Van Overturns On Arlington Highway
The accident happened Wednesday morning on Route 50 in Arlington.
ARLINGTON, VA — Two people were injured Wednesday morning when a van they were riding in overturned on Route 50 in Arlington. According to Arlington fire officials, two right lanes of Route 50 westbound were blocked due to the crash.
The accident happened just before 7 a.m., causing police to shut down the Glebe Road ramp to Route 50 westbound. Both occupants of the vehicle were trapped until firefighters were able to remove them, officials said.
Both occupants were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
