Police Investigating Robbery in Cascades
Suspect on loose after stealing watch, jewelry from residents in home invasion

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion-style robbery at a residence in the Cascades area on Monday night.
The Loudoun police reported that around 8 p.m., an unknown male entered a home in the 11300 block of Stonehouse Place and brandished a firearm. The suspect demanded money from the adult male and adult female residents. The homeowners said they did not have any money, and the suspect took jewelry and a watch the victims were wearing. The suspect then fled on foot towards the Fairfax County line.
The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall with a slender build. He was wearing a black mask (similar to a balaclava), a dark-colored jacket and dark jeans, the Loudoun police reported.
A perimeter was established and a search was conducted with the assistance of a Fairfax County police helicopter. No suspect was located.
