Wolfe was held without bail Friday after a hearing in Prince William County Circuit Court.

Prosecutors Will Retry Justin Wolfe for Murder-for-Hire in October

Former death row inmate Justin Wolfe will stand trial—again—in Prince William County Circuit Court this fall. 

Judge Mary Grace O'Brien A three-week-long trial was set to begin on Oct. 15. 

For more on the bail hearing and the defense and prosecution's arguments,

"This is a very difficult case," O'Brien said. "It's one I've given a great deal of thought to because it's an unusual one." 

A federal judge vacated Wolfe's conviction for the murder-for-hire in July 2011; an appeals court upheld that conviction in August.
