Man Charged After Sunoco Robbery

A man was arrested Friday for allegedly robbing a local Sunoco, Prince William County Police said.

Bruce Edward Glover, 50, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Employees reported at 2:45 p.m. Nov. 16 an unknown man had entered the store, approached the counter and pulled out a handgun. He stole an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing. No injuries were reported.

Police established a perimeter, and near Gordon Plaza, an officer found a man who matched the description provided by a clerk.

"The man was identified as the accused and was determined to have been the suspect involved in the robbery," said Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the police department, in a press release.

Following the investigation, Glover was arrested. His court date was unavailable at press time.
