Alexandria Pet Of The Week: Handsome Rocky Is Picture Perfect

ALEXANDRIA, VA — This Christmas, the pets at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria's animal shelter have one wish: to find a forever home.

There's no better time to give a home to a pet in need this holiday season. Adoption fees are waived in December for adult pets as part of the Home for the Pawlidays sponsored by Priority Automotive.

One of the available pets is Rocky, a green-eyed kitty who's perfect for picture taking. He's also a big fan of socializing with people, so he might throw a few meows into conversations.

Rocky, 20-month-old Brown and White Male Tabby Quite photogenic, huh? Howdy! My name is Rocky, and I'm a handsome brown tabby kitty with green eyes. As you can see, I'm pretty cute! I'm also a social butterfly who is sweet, affectionate and cuddly. I adore people - visitors are the best. I just love stimulating conversation, and I'll meow right in when I have an opinion. I'm a playful boy who enjoys batting my fuzzy mouse around, and I think pipe cleaners are the coolest things ever. If you like snapping pictures, I'd be happy to pose (I'm a natural). I'm looking for an awesome person to share my life with. I'm great company and easy to get along with - I'd be a purrfect snuggle buddy in front of the TV. I'm very inquisitive, so if you have a good window, I could keep an eye on the neighborhood for you. Are you ready to open your heart to a charming kitty?
