Taste Of Del Ray 2023 Participating Restaurants Announced
Participating restaurants will offer tastes in one location as Taste of Del Ray returns to a full in-person event.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Participating restaurants have been announced for Taste of Del Ray, a popular event in its 14th year from the Del Ray Business Association.
Taste of Del Ray will be held Sunday, June 4 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields 2701 Commonwealth Ave., Alexandria, VA. A ticket gets attendees access to tastes from participating restaurants and a vote for the People's Choice Awards.
Restaurants announced so far for the event are: Bella Napoli, Cheesetique, Del Ray Cafe, Del Ray Pizzeria, District Biscuit Company, Evening Star Cafe, Hops N Shine, Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, Matt & Tony's All-Day Kitchen + Bar, Northside 10, Pork Barrel BBQ, Taqueria Poblano, Spice Kraft Indian Bistro and St. Elmo's Coffee Pub/Market 2 Market.

Bella Napoli won the first place Judges' Choice Award last year for its lobster ravioli, followed by Matt & Tony's All Day Kitchen + Bar for cornflake french toast and Pork Barrel BBQ for its BBQ nachos.
Spice Kraft Indian Bistro was the People's Choice Award winner for its Avocado Banana and Beet Chaat, followed by Bella Napoli for lobster ravioli and Pork Barrel BBQ for BBQ nachos.

Tickets are expected to sell out for the event. As of Tuesday, VIP tickets providing early admission and a wine tasting are sold out. Limited general admission tickets are available —$25 for adults and $10 for children under 12 plus fees.
Volunteers can sign up to help with the event to receive a free ticket.
