Man Charged with Impersonating a Cop, Allegedly Had Gun, Stun Gun in His Car

A traffic stop has landed a Manassas man in a lot of hot water, according to police.

Mark Holt, 32, of Manassas was pulled over Tuesday afternoon by a Fairfax County Police officer at Interstate 66 and the Fairfax County Parkway.

The officer saw that the driver was wearing a badge around his neck. A closer look revealed the badge to be apparently fictitious and the driver to be in possession of other fraudulent law enforcement credentials, a stun gun and a firearm.

Mark Holt was charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer, possession of fictitious identifications, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a stun gun by a felon.

FCPD did not say why Holt was initially pulled over.
