Garbage Fire Closes Road In Seven Corners Area: Police

BREAKING: A garage fire that has spilled onto the street closed Wilson Boulevard, according to Fairfax County Police.

SEVEN CORNERS, VA — A garbage fire has closed a road in the Seven Corners area just outside Falls Church City Tuesday afternoon, according to Fairfax County Police.

Police and fire responded to a garbage truck fire at Wilson Boulevard and Peyton Randolph Drive. The garbage caught fire inside the truck and is now spilled onto the road. Wilson Boulevard is closed in both directions while cleanup happens.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
