Students heading to Scotland next summer to perform.

Theater students at West Potomac High have been selected to perform at the Edinburgh (Scotland) Fringe Festival, the world’s largest and most prestigious performing arts festival, as part of the American High School Theatre Festival (AHSTF) in August 2015.
Performing artists from all over the world take part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as the whole city becomes a stage, and visitors can view performances from playgrounds to conference rooms, from city parks to churches. Over 3,000 different performances of music, theater, dance, and comedy will be held during the festival’s three week run.
West Potomac High’s performance of the 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee will be showcased at the AHSTF venue in Edinburgh. Beyond the Page Theatre Company of West Potomac High, under the direction of Philip Lee Clark, was selected by the AHSTF board of advisors to represent the U.S. as part of the 2015 AHSTF program.
