Community members are welcome to join in the worldwide watershed cleanup.

Annual Watershed Cleanup at Frying Pan Park Oct. 13

Many Fairfax County Park Authority parks are taking part in the International Coastal Cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 13, including Frying Pan Farm Park. 

The cleanup will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. Students, families, scouts and community groups are all welcome to join in the worldwide cleanup. 

Items often found include tires, bed springs, bottles, cans and other debris that gets tossed into local waterways. Participants should wear boots, old clothes and bring gloves. Trash bags will be provided.
