The grants ranged from $1,000 to $10,000.

Schools that received grants include:

• Greenville Elementary in Fauquier County
• Bush Hill Elementary in Fairfax County
• Newington Forest Elementary in Fairfax County
• Potowmack Elementary in Loudoun County
• The Alexandria Seaport Foundation
• City of Manassas Public Schools
• Prince William County Public Schools

The education partnership awards program received about 200 submissions this year. Grant requests went through three rounds of judging to be chosen, Dominion said.
