Capital Beltway Thru Lanes Open After Truck Fire In Alexandria
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said the thru lanes of northbound I-495 would be closed for about an hour.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A truck fire caused lane closures on the Capital Beltway in the Alexandria area Thursday.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue said contents of a trash truck were on fire on northbound I-495 (Outer Loop) before Eisenhower Avenue. The fire is now under control.
Authorities said the thru lanes would closed for about an hour. Local lanes are open. Drivers are asked to follow police direction.
