Sobriety Checkpoint Saturday Begins at 10 p.m.
Before heading out to party this weekend, make sure you plan ahead with a designated driver or stay sober.

The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office has announced a sobriety checkpoint, beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday.

“Our goal is to ensure the roads are safe for all motorists,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman in a statement. “The checkpoints are designed to discourage impaired driving and we are asking drivers to make the smart choice, don’t drink and drive."

Members of the Sheriff’s Office Auxiliary Unit and volunteers from the Loudoun Chapter of MADD will assist with the checkpoint.
