Edward Reynolds
Mr. Edward Reynolds (affectionately known as Kwesi Mallace) was born in Accra, Ghana to Mr. Joseph Mallace Addow of blessed memory and Mrs. Jemima Addow May 5, 1965. Mr. Reynolds attended Legon Presbyterian Boys Secondary School in Accra, Ghana and went on to further his college education at the University of Cape Coast in Ghana.

He graduated with honors from University of Cape Coast, Ghana earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Economics in 1990. He was offered a teaching assistant position after graduation. He left Ghana to USA to pursue a graduate program at Indiana University.

Mr. Edward Reynolds worked in the retail industry for Nordstrom, Inc., an American upscale fashion retailer for several years. His passion for knowledge led him to carve a career for himself in information technology, where he exceled, and worked as a Network Security Engineer until he became ill. Kwesi Mallace as we all know him never let go of his will to love and cherish his family, friends, and everyone he encountered in his life. He was a loving husband, father, dedicated, hardworking, kind-hearted, and touched many lives. 

He passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer with his family by his side on April 5, 2014 at the Novant Health Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, Virginia.

Mr. Edward Reynolds is survived by his loving wife Janet, two sons Christopher and Edward Jr., his elder brother Joseph Mallace Addow, his mother, Mrs. Jemima Addow, and his cousin, confidant, and best friend, Fred Asomani-Atinkah.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will be held at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
