Fire Damages Vacant Home in Lake Jackson Area

Firefighters arrived to find the home fully engulfed, according to Prince William County Fire and Rescue.

MANASSAS, VA — A large fire damaged a home in the Lake Jackson area Tuesday morning, according to Prince William County Fire and Rescue.

Fire and rescue units responded to the vacant home in the 8200 block of Cobb Road at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters commenced rural water supply operations and extinguished the fire, she said.

No injuries reported. Investigators from the Fire Marshal’s Office will determine the cause of the fire.
