McLean Resident's Home Alarm Triggered, Screen in Window Cut

A resident on the 7000 block of Capitol View Drive reported destruction of property and a possible attempted home invasion to Fairfax County Police earlier this week.

The incident occurred early Monday morning, July 27, at approximately 1:10 a.m. The resident told police his home alarm was triggered and that he later found the screen on a garage window had been cut.

The suspect was described as a male in his 20s wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts and white sneakers. The case remains under investigation.
