This weekend brings a parade and other Lunar New Year events, ice skating, three restaurant weeks and more events in Northern VA and DC.
VIRGINIA — In the midst of January, you can still find things to do this weekend around Northern Virginia and DC, from Lunar New Year events and restaurant weeks to ice skating.
Lunar New Year is a highlight this weekend with the top event being the Lunar New Year Parade in DC. Other events include Lunar New Year at the Kennedy Center, Old Town Alexandria Lunar New Year, Lunar New Year Celebration in Fairfax, National Museum of Asian Art Lunar New Year Celebration and more.
Foodies can enjoy special menus at restaurants as three restaurant weeks intersect. Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week and FXBG Winter Restaurant Week wrap up this weekend while Alexandria Restaurant Week gets started.

It's the last weekend to check out Georgetown GLOW, while Winter Lantern Festival and Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest Experience continue into February.
