Car Stolen In Old Town North Recovered By Alexandria Police
A vehicle left running outside a business was stolen, only to be found using GPS tracking.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Alexandria Police recovered a vehicle stolen in Old Town North Wednesday night and made an arrest.
According to police, the car theft happened in the 800 block of N. St. Asaph Street before 8 p.m. The victim had left his sedan running while stopping in a business. When he returned, the vehicle was gone.
Police could track the vehicle using the owner's GPS tracking software. The vehicle was located in the 300 block of Braddock Road, where the suspect was in the vehicle.

Dorian Claytor, 27 of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with grand larceny auto. The suspect was taken to the Alexandria jail and is being held without bond.
