Chalk Walk To Turn Old Town North Into Outdoor Art Studio
Artists will make the sidewalks of Old Town North their canvas as they create chalk art this upcoming weekend.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — As the Old Town North neighborhood establishes itself as an arts district, a returning event will bring artists to work on the streets.
The second annual Chalk Walk will be hosted by the Old Town North Alliance on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Artists will be creating sidewalk art at locations throughout Old Town North. Admission is free.
Attendees can start at Canal Center and walk to various locations where artists will be creating chalk art. The sidewalk art will happen on 10-by-10 spaces throughout the neighborhood. There will also be free Kid Creation at various locations for children to show off their artistic side.

In the event of rain, the event would be rescheduled to Saturday, Oct. 28. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
