Crash Sends Pedestrian To Hospital In Alexandria: Police
Alexandria Police say a pedestrian had critical injuries from a vehicle striking her in the West End.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Monday in Alexandria, according to Alexandria Police.
The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of North Ripley Street, which is off Duke Street in the West End. The pedestrian, a woman, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. Traffic was temporarily blocked on North Ripley Street as police spoke with potential witnesses.
