Crazy Shake Bar Eyes Summer Opening On Alexandria's King Street
Crazy shakes packed with toppings, sundaes and other desserts are coming to Old Town Alexandria this summer.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — There will be a new way to satisfy your sweet tooth as The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar prepares to open on King Street in Alexandria.
The business at 716 King Street expects to be open in summer 2023 at 716 King Street. An exact opening date has not been announced.
"We are happy to announce our 10th Crazy Mason in the works," said business founders Bo and Sherri Steele in a statement. "Our Ellicott City [Maryland] location owners are expanding into another sweet spot in their nearby community of Alexandria, Virginia. They love the historic feel of their chosen towns and we couldn't be happier for them to add a Crazy Mason to the charm of these historic districts."

As the name suggests, The Crazy Mason Milkshake Barspecializes in crazy shakes packed with toppings. For example, the Cookie Mashup has cookies n' cream and cookie dough ice cream in a vanilla frosted jar with half rolled crushed Oreos, half crushed Chips Ahoy, a large chocolate chip cookie, Oreo, cookie dough bites, cookie dirt, whipped icing and chocolate sauce.
Another option is the Have Your Cake & Eat It Too, which has birthday cake ice cream in a blue marshmallow swirled jar with vanilla buttercream rim rolled in rainbow sprinkles, a cupcake, lollipop, blue marshmallow drizzle, whipped icing and rainbow sprinkles.

Crazy sundaes, crazy ice cream sandwiches, crazy waffles and other crazy desserts round out the menu.
The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar was first opened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in June 2020 by Bo and Sherri Steele. With a love for all things sweet, the founders grew the business from a mom-and-pop shop into a growing franchise. Today, the franchise has eight locations with future locations planned in Alexandria, Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Alexandria franchisees Erin and Robert Studer discovered The Crazy Mason on a vacation in Myrtle Beach.
"We wanted to bring our crazy shakes to the DC metro area, and Old Town Alexandria is one of our favorite places," said the Studers. "With the waterfront, the cosmopolitan feel and the walkable nature of the town, we are so excited to announce our next location on King Street."
