National Pizza Week: Best Local Pizza In Old Town Alexandria, Deals

ALEXANDRIA, VA — There's a whole week dedicated to celebrating one of America's top foods: pizza. National Pizza Week runs during the second week of January, which will fall on Jan. 8 to 14 in 2023.

That means you have an entire week to stop at your favorite pizza restaurant. According to National Day Calendar, over 5 billion pizzas are bought around the world each year. The most popular pizza toppings are cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and bacon, while toppings like pineapple can generate strong opinions on both sides in some families.
