Alexandria City Public Schools has modified its schedule for a third time this week as more snow could be on the way.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — As another round of snow is forecast for Friday, Alexandria City Public Schools will close for a second day this week.
Friday will be a traditional snow day, which means students will not have virtual learning. All in-person learning is cancelled, and school offices are closed. Afternoon and evening activities on ACPS school campuses are also canceled, including community programming, ACPS athletic, band or other extracurricular activities or community events.
Essential ACPS personnel, including building engineers, custodians, maintenance shop employees and security staff, must report if safe to do so. Employees should check with their supervisor.
