OK. So, we won't exactly be
walking on sunshine, but at least the weather in our region will finally let us stop huddling in clouds of despair.
After a deep freeze that seems to have lasted — What, 10 years? —
temperatures fit for humans are making their way into Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC.
Reston should see a high of 47 on Saturday and 49 on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather wizards are predicting increasingly warm temperatures, peaking in some metro spots in the 50s on Sunday. Then, you guessed it, some freezing temperatures return — with a chance of snow again on Monday.
