Love 'em or hate 'me, Peeps are everywhere this time of year. You'll find them starting next week at Reston's  Ted’s BULLETIN restaurant, where they are introducing some special menu items for the Easter holiday.

From Thursday, April 17 until Easter Sunday, April 20, the restaurant will serve up an Easter-basket inspired "PeepTart" and a frothy robin’s egg milkshake for customers.

The PeepTart is a homemade strawberry pop-tart with Ted’s signature glaze covered with sprinkles capped with a fluorescent Peep.

Along with the PeepTart, Ted’s BULLETIN will continue to serve customary pop-tart flavors, such as strawberry, blueberry, brown sugar cinnamon and peanut butter bacon.

A special milkshake has been created to accompany the PeepTart. The creamy milkshake has a rich vanilla flavor with crunchy Robin’s Egg malt candies mixed in and is topped with whipped cream and even more robin’s eggs.

Feeling saucy? The restaurant suggests adding Baileys Irish Cream for additional vanilla flavor and an adult take on this sweet treat.

Recently, Ted’s BULLETIN was nominated by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington for Everyday Casual Brunch of the Year award, voting for this, and other people’s choice awards, is online at  Washington City Paper and will close April 27, 2014.

Ted’s BULLETIN is open Sunday-Thursday from 7 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. at all locations, and breakfast is available all day.
