Safety Drill Scheduled in Reston Metro Station -- Only for Construction Workers
The drill will take place at 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, and will last 20-25 minutes.
Metro will conduct a safety drill at the Wiehle-Reston East Station on July 30 at 8 a.m., but passengers need not be alarmed — the drill is only for construction workers.
Fairfax Connector bus system confirmed the drills on its Facebook account Wednesday morning, and said the drill is expected to last 25 minutes.
There may be blasting of air horns, but those horns will not apply to passengers.
