'Screenagers' Showing at the Reston Community Center on Tuesday
The documentary shows the perils of social media, video games and internet addiction as teenagers grow up in the digital age.

RESTON, VA — It's time for Tuesday Night at the Movies presented by Reston Community Center, and this week's film is a bit different: the documentary "Screenagers," which focuses on teenagers growing up in a digital age with their faces constantly glued to their phones.
The film will be showing at RCC Hunters Woods from 7:30 until 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 27. Admission is free.
"SCREENAGERS probes into the vulnerable corners of family life, including the director's own, and depicts the messy struggles that can ensue over social media, video games, academics and internet addiction," according to a statement. "Through poignant and unexpectedly funny stories, along with surprising insights from authors, psychologists, and brain scientists, SCREENAGERS reveals how tech time impacts kids' development and offers solutions on how adults can empower kids to best navigate the digital world and find balance."
